A Shared Vision
Volta Labs is pleased to support Brilliant Labs by sharing the vision for a strong pipeline support for entrepreneurs at every stage and encouraging STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Arts and Mathematics) education in schools across Atlantic Canada. The Volta community can play a huge role in supporting tech skills and entrepreneurship education in collaboration with UIT Startup Immersion and Brilliant Labs and we hope you will play a role in supporting Brilliant Labs in Nova Scotia!
On Monday, November 24th, Volta Labs will be hosting a Nova Scotia Brilliant Labs Founders Meeting – an informal community session to discuss the three pillars of Brilliant Labs and how Brilliant Labs can fit in to our communities.
Brilliant Labs is part of the CodeKids movement and is championed by David Alston, Chief Innovation Officer at Introhive in New Brunswick, as well as Gavin Uhma and Jevon MacDonald of GoInstant/Salesforece, Volta Labs and UIT here in Nova Scotia.
When: November 24th, 7:00pm-9:00pm
Where: Volta Labs, 3rd Floor Event Space, 5415 Spring Garden Road
Brief presentation followed by informal discussion and breakout groups to discuss how Nova Scotia’s youth can be served by:
Brilliant Labs – Creative, technology enhanced learning commons and workshops for youth.
Brilliant Projects – Grants for innovative teachers and schools to buy the stuff they need to do creative, innovative, entrepreneurial projects in their classrooms.
Brilliant Engagement – Social sharing, Student Pitch Competitions, Robotics Challenges and more.
Brilliant Labs is a culture, a network and a movement and we’re excited to be a part of it!
