The Canadian Digital Media Network has a Passport Program for Canadian technology companies working with hubs in the CDMN network. This is a great program for any Volta Network Member or tenant who may be interested in hubs across Canada. While Volta’s co-working space is free for all Network Members (a free membership you can apply to here!), some innovations hubs may otherwise have a charge.

What is the Passport Program?

The CDMN Passport program is a service available to Canadian technology companies working with the hubs on our network. It allows those companies to access space, meeting rooms and basic amenities such as: internet, desk space, meeting rooms, telephones, printers, and copiers at most hubs. Hubs provide temporary, short-term use of their space free of charge.

How does it work?

  1. Hub member companies must fill out an application detailing the reason they wish to access the service.
  2. The CDMN Network Program Coordinator will connect with the destination hub to determine availability and confirm details of the application.
  3. Once all the details have been confirmed the CDMN Network Program Coordinator will connect the company with the host hub.

Who can use the Passport Program?

Clients from participating hubs that are a Canadian startup or small to medium sized company who can clearly define the purpose for the Passport visit.
