Volta - Welcome back to Volta!

Welcome back to Volta!

Welcome back! To prevent the spread of COVID-19, it is imperative that workplaces and their guests work together to keep each other safe. With that, we ask that you complete the form below before entering the space. Due to capacity limits, individuals will be allowed in on a first-come, first-served basis, providing you are feeling well, have not travelled or been in contact with anyone who has travelled, is self-isolating or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

The Co-Working Space will be open to Network Members, and while we are inviting new Network Members to our space, at this time, we are not offering tours. The Co-Working Space will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

If any of the following applies to you, we ask that you return home and call 811 to go over your symptoms:

  • If you or someone in your household is feeling unwell (new or worsening cough, headache, fever, chills, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or runny nose)
  • If you have been in close contact with anyone who is feeling unwell, is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, has been diagnosed with or is suspected to have COVID-19
  • If you, or someone in your household has been outside of Atlantic Canada in the last 14 days

Complete Screening Form

Each time you enter the space, you must complete this form. There are no exceptions. If you are need to leave and come back on the same day, please indicate to the Volta team member at the desk that you will be returning. You must, however, bring all of your belongings with you when you go, even if you intend on coming back.

While you are in the Co-Working Space, we ask that you:

  • please follow the signage and directions for the correct flow of foot traffic – there are arrows on the ground to direct you
  • wear a non-medical mask when moving in the space
  • practice social distancing by staying six-feet or two metres apart at all times
  • wash your hands and use hand sanitizer frequently
  • exercise proper coughing and sneezing etiquette, by coughing or sneezing into your elbow or a tissue (then throwing it out immediately)
  • wipe the workspace down before you leave
  • our water station is now available, but we ask that you sanitize the dispenser using the provided wipes after each use
  • do not move chairs or other furniture in the space; it has been place strategically to allow for social distancing

Anyone who is not following these directives will be asked to leave.
