Learn how to sell to the global marketplace

The Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN) in association with Volta has launched Going International, a training and mentoring program to help companies identify the right connections, resources and support needed for international growth. Canadian companies that invest in export stand to gain higher sales, pre-tax profits margins and return on assets, when compared to non-exporters. The application deadline is Friday April 10, 2015.

Program

Offered free-of-charge, Going International helps qualified small and-medium sized enterprises like yours take products into new international markets by providing:

• A full-day workshop with expert facilitation and training materials
• Strong mentorship opportunities at the workshop, and for 90 days afterwards
• Support for companies to develop concrete goals and an achievable action plan
• Opportunity to qualify for the CDMN Soft Landing program – including up to $4,000 in travel support

Workshop

A component of Going International is a full-day, no-cost workshop facilitated by an experienced international business development expert. This interactive workshop provides practical training and support for participating companies with a step-by-step playbook. Companies are expected to complete pre-workshop assignments; the workshop day is spent developing a 90-day action plan.

With more than 30 years of senior management experience in sales and marketing with Fortune 100 multi-nationals and startups, Dana Fox is no stranger to the subject of growth strategy. He is currently Director of Business Development at Athena Software, a global leader in case management software.
