Market Intelligence Program now available to Volta Labs’ Resident Companies through collaboration with Atlantic tech hubs and MaRS
Through a new partnership with MaRS and tech hubs across Atlantic Canada, Volta Labs can now deliver world-class market intelligence to our residents with the MaRS Marketing Intelligence Program. This program grants our residents with access to the talents and big data of sector-specific analysts in ICT, Life Sciences/Healthcare, Cleantech and the Physical Sciences.
MaRS Market Intelligence (MI) is an integral part of the MaRS Discovery District. MI’s team of analysts and information specialists provide entrepreneurs with current and relevant information about their industry, competitors, market, potential investors, partners and best practices. During the past fiscal year, MaRS Market Intelligence helped over 1500 start-ups from all across Ontario with their varied market research needs.
Jesse Rodgers, CEO of Volta Labs believes this collaboration will give Volta’s resident companies a competitive edge. “MaRS Market Intelligence is a highly sought-after resource in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, so being able to provide our residents with exclusive access to their wealth of knowledge and expertise is exciting. It’s one more resource at Volta we’re proud to provide that sets our residents up for success.”
Volta Labs is one of four Atlantic Canadian organizations that has been granted access to MaRS Market Intelligence. Other organizations include: Nova Scotia-based Innovacorp, Newfoundland-based Genesis Centre and New Brunswick-based Venn Centre. This has been made possible through the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN), a network of 26 regional innovation hubs across Canada focused on supporting the country’s digital entrepreneurs.
