Volta is looking for a top-notch Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic team!

What you will be achieving:

• Creating compelling multimedia content that will elevate Volta’s brand and share the unique stories of our community both on and offline  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide support with the organization and promotion of Volta events and programs
• Develop content, including writing blog posts and features, informative articles, monthly newsletters, communications materials, etc.
• Create and execute social media campaigns and strategies for multiple platforms
• Updating and maintaining Volta’s website 
• Creation of other marketing materials as needed, including (but not limited to) magazines, brochures, one pagers (copy, photography and design)
• Collect and collate information for promotional literature
• Offer strategic guidance to organization on building public profile
• Other duties as required 

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma program with a focus on Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent experience
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with WordPress
• Experience with MailChimp 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Five years of relevant work experience
• Personable, presentable, articulate and able to work effectively with a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
