Halifax, NS & San Antonio, TX – Rackspace, one of the most innovative cloud service providers in North America partnered up today with Volta, a Halifax startup house providing mentorship and support to high-potential technology companies. This partnership will help Nova Scotia technology startups scale and establish strong infrastructure for their products.
Each Volta startup will be provided a monthly credit of $2000 dollars, redeemable for managed hosting, storage, email servers, cloud load balancers and more. In addition to cloud services, Rackspace will provide Volta companies with technical mentorship and opportunities to feature and market Volta startups through social media channels.
Companies will also get access to Robert Scoble, a tech journalist best known for his blog, Scobleizer, which came to prominence during his tenure as a technology evangelist at Microsoft, as well as opportunities to publish on Rackspace blogs and case studies.
“We are looking forward to a strong partnership with Rackspace. We will continue to develop partnerships that will enable Volta companies to compete in a global market“ Said Milan Vrekic, Executive Director at Volta Labs.
