Academy Recovery Program
Startups and small businesses are at the heart of what makes Atlantic Canada such a great place to live and work. With the COVID-19 pandemic, business owners are facing unprecedented challenges, and are trying to navigate staying afloat. Having a recovery strategy in place for a post-COVID-19 world will help startups and small businesses position themselves to become stronger than ever before.
That’s where Volta wants to help. Launching in mid-June and running for six weeks, Volta Academy: Recovery will take leaders through key areas to navigate the new normal. Topics will include runway management, financial planning, funding sources, sales, marketing in the age of uncertainty, and human resources.
These expert-led sessions will take place Tuesday mornings, and some sessions will have hour availability in the days that follow, so that you can ask questions and clarify strategies. There will be an opportunity for peer-to-peer engagement.
All sessions will be offered virtually at no charge to the participant. In lieu of a program fee, we ask that if you are able, please make a donation to a local organization of your choice that is working to support vulnerable groups in our community.
Please note that there are limited spaces in this program. Only startups based in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island are eligible for this program.
