Volta adds high-demand startup resources with Halifax’s The Well
As part of the continuing effort to expand resources available to Resident companies to help them grow, Volta Labs has teamed up with The Well Creative Consultants to offer a wide gamut of creative services at discounted rates.
Each month, residents will receive “tokens” for The Well to use toward services that fit their current needs. Through this partnership, The Well will pair companies with designers, copywriters, PR writers, and creative directors based on their project.
The Well connects companies with experienced freelancers across Canada to fit their specific creative needs, on a project-by-project basis or for longer term.
This partnership, combined with a Branding Strategy Program in partnership with Larry MacEachern and a printing partnership with Advocate Printing, provides a comprehensive branding resource for Volta Residents.
“We were thrilled to be asked to take part in Volta’s new program in helping their member businesses access specialized talent they may not otherwise have been able to reach,” said Glenn Swann, Chief Operating Officer of The Well.
“This partnership with The Well will help fill gaps for our resident companies and make top quality creative services more accessible to them,” said Meghann Coleman, Startup Services Manager with Volta Labs. “Combined with our other branding services and partnerships, we want to make effective branding easy for founders.”
Volta Residents enjoy more than $50,000 in resources, programming, and discounts, as well as subsidized office space in the heart of Halifax. Interested companies apply online, then pitch their company to the Volta Bureau, a panel of experienced founders and industry experts. The deadline for the next round of applications is April 7.
