Volta Board Strengthened with Addition of Industry Pioneers Paul LeBlanc and Laura Simpson

Volta, Atlantic Canada's premier startup hub, is thrilled to announce the addition of two accomplished entrepreneurs, Paul LeBlanc and Laura Simpson, to its Board of Directors.

In a strategic move to bolster its commitment to nurturing high-performing, data-driven startups, Volta has enlisted the expertise of two seasoned entrepreneurs renowned for their diverse industry experience.

Laura Simpson, CEO and Co-Founder of Side Door, brings a unique blend of creativity and business acumen to Volta's board. Known for her ability to foster engaged, diverse, and inclusive communities, she promises to be a game-changer in elevating Volta's existing startup ecosystem.

“I am very pleased to serve on the board for Volta and I take the role of representing the founder’s perspective very seriously,” said Laura Simpson. “Volta plays a central role in the sustainable development of startups in Nova Scotia and I want to help ensure our companies get what they need to compete on the world stage.”

Paul LeBlanc, CEO and Co-Founder of Collab.,  joins Volta's board with a skill set honed across multiple sectors, from technology to manufacturing. As a serial entrepreneur and investor, he adds considerable value to the board's collective expertise.
